Size 320mm x 420 mm and printed using Canson Aquarelle Rag paper - 310 gsm it has a wonderful watercolour paper texture.

Following on..

I recently completed this design for a company called 'The riginal poster company, it's in my stitched baby style! I think it's for a card, or a banner, I'm not entirely sure actually, but they like it!

New Christmas cards designs.

I have been beavering away on these two designs of late, there are two major licensing fayres coming up (one in London and one in NYC) so getting my skates on to create a new collection.

After these I'm planning some snowy mute swans and perhaps a lovely barn owl!

Firecrest Licensing design - colouring process

Hello, just thought I would post my latest offering, a new licensing design of a firecrest bird, sat on some magnolia. I really enjoyed this illustration and decided I would take screen shots of it as it progressed, so you can see my working process. 

All of my illustrations start off as a pencil sketch, using a hb pencil on some nice textured paper (not too textured) and then are scanned into photoshop and cleaned up, before I start adding layers of varying opacity. Soooo many layers!!!

 I've been pretty busy working on a spec and some new licensing designs for the upcoming Spring Fair. Anywho here are a few bits and pieces for you to have a look over....

Hereford Book signing pictures...

Here are a few pictures of my Book signing, it's quite difficult

to take pictures especially when you're mid conversation with someone, so there aren't that many! We had a colouring competition and I sold some of my bookplates too!

There were lots of lovely comments about my illustrations which

made me feel great although I find it incredibly hard to looks at my work retrospectively as I'm always trying to move forward to get to a place where I'm completely happy.

I made some colouring sheets using the front cover of my book,

they seemed to go down well and the children who loved 

the glitter glue pens!
